About the Event

The South Australian Parliament is considering a potential Human Rights Act from SA - and it's time to let them know what you think!  To help inspire you we are so excited to be co-hosting a star studded in person event on 14 February 2024 involving former Victorian Attorney General and Human Rights Champion the Hon Rob Hulls and the Hon Catherine Branson AO KC.  Everyone is welcome & it's free but please register to reserve your spot!

The Honourable Rob Hulls is the current Director of Centre for Innovative Justice, and haspreviously served as the Attorney-General and Deputy Premier of Victoria with the Bracks and Brumby Labor Governments from 1999 to 2010. As Attorney-General, Rob instigated significant and lasting changes to Victoria’s legal system. These included establishing the Charter of Human Rights for Victoria. 

The Honourable Catherine Branson AC KC is the current Chancellor of the University of Adelaide, and a renowned human rights expert, having served as President of the Australian Human Rights Commission, Justice of the Federal Court of Australia and Crown Solicitor of South Australia.
