About the Event
Join academic reserachers and community leaders for a FREE, ONLINE interactive informal Workshop on the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety and its implications for law making and policy making in South Australia. Â The Workshop aims to provide:
A brief overview of the Royal Commission’s Key Findings
A summary of the recommendations relating to a human rights approach to aged care
Reflections on the relevance of the Royal Commission's findings on the ground in SA
A brief insight into the bigger, international picture- towards an International Convention on the Rights of Older Persons
