About the Event

Join academic reserachers and community leaders for a FREE, ONLINE interactive informal Workshop on the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety and its implications for law making and policy making in South Australia.  The Workshop aims to provide:

A brief overview of the Royal Commission’s Key Findings

A summary of the recommendations relating to a human rights approach to aged care

Reflections on the relevance of the Royal Commission's findings on the ground in SA

A brief insight into the bigger, international picture- towards an International Convention on the Rights of Older Persons
