Using a Human Rights approach to address access to housing for vulnerable groups in South Australia
Low to middle income households in Australia are struggling to secure and maintain adequate housing due to rising unaffordability in renting and owning. This housing crisis has worse impacts for vulnerable people who have complex issues, who have no stable income, who experience institutionalisation, and who lack the necessary supports from family, community, and services. Hear from a group of final year Social Work students about how a human rights informed approach can help identify effective, dignity-based strategies for addressing this crisis in South Australia.
