About the Event
The Australian Parliament is currently considering what changes are needed to improve legal protections for human rights, and asking whether we should enact a Charter of Human Rights or a Human Rights Act at the federal level. This is a critical opportunity for South Australians to raise their voices about the gaps in legal protections for human rights in our State. We want to help you and your organisation prepare a submission that explains why we need better protection for human rights protection here in SA. At the workshop, we will explain how and when you need to make your submission, how to share your on-the-ground experiences, and how you can use existing resources and materials to make the process quick and easy. It's free, online, relaxed and interactive. Everyone is welcome!
